Welcome to our world of riding with kids for the past 16 years at the Ranch. We are Eric and Annelise Turner, owners and Director of Iron Horse Country Ranch.
What started as a way to get our children outside playing, led us later in life to open a Motocross Summer Camp
Our life experiences, passions and backgrounds led us to the concept of this camp and to its opening in 2008. In search of safety for the sport I became a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Instructor (MSF), a totally different world then my computer geek life, while my wife, Annelise, holds a Masters Degree in Social Work, Child & Family Specialty. We both had good businesses and left it all for the ranch. We could not be happier, but it’s a lot of work! We are proud parents of two now grown daughters who were our original “Junior Counselors”. To this day, they both talk about how participating in summer camp life at Iron Horse has helped them in their adult lives with self-confidence, social skills and a strong work ethic.
We are a children’s summer camp located near Austin, Tx. We are one of the only camps in the country with dirt bikes – motorcycles for children to ride.
